CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police say the driver of a PACE van carrying as many as nine developmentally disabled adults was at fault in a crash in Roseland on Monday morning.
Both police and fire say the developmentally disabled passengers in a PACE van were not seriously hurt - but they were taken to hospitals to be checked out after the accident at 111th and Wentworth, WBBM Newsradio's Steve Miller reports.
Police say it was the 56-year-old driver of that van, Karen McKeigun of Frankfort, who was ticketed for failing to yield while making a left turn.
Police say the 2005 Ford van hit a Cadillac DeVille - injuring the Cadillac's 55-year-old driver and a child who was a passenger.
Both were taken to the hospital - and were stable, the fire department says.
