10 Rescued From Logan Square Fire
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Ten people were rescued Friday morning from a fire at an apartment building in the Logan Square neighborhood.
As CBS 2's Kris Habermehl reports, the fire broke out in a three-story apartment building at 2743 N. Monticello Ave. As of just after 6 a.m., flames were shooting from the back of the building, and had already ripped through the second floor, through the enclosed back porch onto the third floor.
The three-story building was filled with smoke.
A total of 10 people were rescued, but it was not immediately learned if anyone was injured.
