Shooting shut downs portion of Bishop Ford Freeway at Michigan Avenue
CHICAGO (CBS) — One person was injured in an expressway shooting on the Bishop Ford Freeway Monday morning.
Just before 5:15 a.m., Illinois State Police said shots were fired at Michigan Avenue, hitting a car in the northbound lanes.
The driver, of the vehicle hit by gunfire, suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
All northbound lanes are closed.
Police are investigating.
