1 Killed, 2 Injured In Northbrook Crash
NORTHBROOK, Ill. (CBS) -- One person was killed and two others were injured early Thursday in a two-car crash in Northbrook.
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Sanders Road and Commercial Avenue, according to Northbrook Fire District Chief Daniel Quinn.

Zofia Strzalkowska, who was in her 50s and of 460 Gilbert Dr. in Wood Dale, was dead on the scene, according to a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Two people in the other car were taken to area hospitals in fair condition, according to the district chief. A third person in the second vehicle was not injured.
The Northbrook crash was one of two deadly crashes in the north suburbs overnight.
Around 10:30 p.m., a 51-year-old semi-truck driver was killed, and another truck driver was injured, in a pileup involving two semis and four cars on Skokie Highway (U.S. 41) and Half Day Road in Highland Park.
