1 Hurt When SUV Crashes Over Median On Lake Shore Drive
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A nasty rollover accident left one person hurt on North Lake Shore Drive overnight.
Late Thursday night, a sport-utility vehicle hit a wall on the Outer Drive, rolled over the median, and came down on its roof on the Inner Drive near North Avenue.
The car took out part of a tree and part of a fence.
Five people were inside the SUV. One was reported in serious condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Police say they do not know what made the driver lose control.
