1 Dead In I-90 Rollover Crash
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (STMW) - Alcohol may have played a role in the death of a man killed in a rollover crash early Saturday on the I-90 expressway in northwest suburban Arlington Heights.
A 1999 Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on the I-90 expressway near the Arlington Heights Road exit at 4:30 a.m. when the car went into a ditch and rolled over, according to a Illinois State Police District 15 Master Sergeant.
An occupant of the vehicle identified as Christopher Vega, 20, of the 1100 block of Meadow Lane in Hoffman Estates was pronounced dead at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Neither of the two occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts, state police said. Alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
