1 Dead, 3 Critically Injured In Grand Crossing Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- One person is dead and three were critically injured in an auto accident Tuesday evening in the South Side Grand Crossing neighborhood.
The accident occurred at 8:21 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Dobson Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety said.
A van struck a pole, Fire Media Affairs said.
One person was dead at the scene, Fire Media Affairs said. Two others were taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. One person was critically injured and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The police Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating.
