1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Washington Heights Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Sunday night in the South Side Washington Heights neighborhood, police said.
Jerrell Brooks, 28, was shot to death near 93rd and Elizabeth streets, at about 9:53 p.m., authorities said.
Brooks, of the 9200 block of South Aberdeen Street, was dead at the scene, authorities said.
Another man was shot in the arm and taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
No one is in custody.
