New England is known for its strong winter weather, so it's likely Pats fans will experience bad weather at least once as this season continues. However you feel about snow, Boston can get pretty brutal. No matter how long the winter lasts, spring is sure to follow. Until then, use these tips as part of your bad weather survival guide for Patriots tailgating.
Towards afternoon some high clouds will approach from the west associated with an approaching warm front. Regardless, lots of sun will be found with seasonal high temperatures around 50 degrees.
We do have a string of nice weather to enjoy with sun filled skies. Highs today will be near 50 under slightly breezy and brisk conditions. Despite a cold frontal passage today, the immediate post-frontal air mass will be summer-like with high temperatures reaching the lwr-middle 70's in many locations, with the exception of the Cape and Islands where winds off the water will keep temperatures closer to 70. Average highs this time of year are around 60 degrees, so we'll be 15 degrees above normal to start the weekend! Southwest winds will be breezy at 10-20mph.
Steady Showers are being directed up the CT river valley for the morning hours with lighter showers across eastern MA. By afternoon, the steady showers in the west will begin to shift eastward for the afternoon and evening.
