Temperatures will gradually fall around 40F this morning and remain stagnant the remainder of the day.
Thanks to a warm front travelling northward this morning, temperatures will be able to climb into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
The showers and clouds will lose their grip, and skies will brighten as the day progresses.
It's shaping up to be a mild day with ther mercury reaching the lower 50s. However, this morning will be cold enough to support a light icy mix in spots that are north and west of Nashua and Fitchburg. Then, scattered showers will become more widespread this afternoon as a cold front nears New England.
It's going to be another calm mid-December day.
It's another beauty in the neighborhood! It will be a sunny and chilly start before the sun 'warms' us up into the middle 40s this afternoon.
We will have 100% sunshine today as high temperatures return to near normal in the middle 40s.
Right now, it appears that a light-to-moderate snow accumulation is likely in all of the higher elevations in western Massachusetts, southern Vermont, southwest New Hampshire and northern Worcester County.
High pressure has settled in which will provide more sunshine on this Friday. However, an eroding cold front will produce patches of clouds later today as well as a slim chance of a sprinkle/flurry, especially north and west.
November 2011 is now down in the books as the 2nd warmest on record! Yes, the average temperature was 50.4F, which is 5.7F ABOVE normal. Our warmest temperature at Boston Logan was 69F on November 8. There was a total of 4.21" of precipitation with only a trace of snow all month.
It's going to be a close 2nd, but it's a definite that we will be writing down November 2011 as the 2nd warmest on record behind November of 1975.
