Ray has a player option and has already said he has no intentions of leaving Boston. He had the best shooting season of his career in 2010-11, hitting 49-percent from the field and 44-percent from behind the arc at the age of 35.
Shaquille O'Neal
Shaq has a player option, but there is a good chance he retires after an injury-plagued end to the season. He played in just 37 games in the regular season, most in the first half, and only 12 minutes in the playoffs because of an Achilles and calf injury.
Glen Davis
Davis will be an unrestricted free agent and has stated many times that he thinks he can start for another team. He had an awful series against the Heat and showed there are still some maturity issues. He should get a pretty big contract from another team, which may deter the Celtics from bringing back “Big Baby.”
Jeff Green
Green will be a restricted free agent, so the Celtics can match any off he gets from another team. Although he did not play well when initially joining the team after the Perkins trade, Green showed some promise in the playoffs. He adjusted to his role off the bench, and played decent defense. The Celtics will likely look to make a future franchise player.
Delonte West
The bench contributor will be a free agent, and the Celtics should make a good effort to bring Delonte back. He was injured for most of the year, but showed he is a great role player in the playoffs. West can play either guard position, giving Rondo a rest at the point or playing along side him.
Carlos Arroyo
Arroyo will be a free agent that Boston may consider bringing back. Although he did not put up big numbers in his 15 games with the Celtics, he proved to be a viable point guard that can run an offense. If Avery Bradley is not ready to step up, the C’s could look into bringing Arroyo back.
Nenad Krstic
Krstic will be a free agent the Celtics will likely let walk away. He did not fit in the Celtics defensive system at all since being acquired in the Kendrick Perkins trade. He could shoot the ball, but brought little in way of rebounding and toughness in the paint.
Troy Murphy
Murphy will be a free agent and did very little in his time with the Celtics. He played in just 17 games for Boston after being signed late in the season, averaging 2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
Von Wafer
Wafer will become a free agent after the season ends and will likely have to find his seventh NBA team in six seasons. He showed some offensive prowess, but was too streaky to put any trust in.
Sasha Pavlovic
Pavlovic will be a free agent. He was brought on to eat some minutes late in the season and possibly defend off the bench. It’s unlikely the Celtics will bring him back, but they may see his experience valuable as they try and fill out their bench.
