Young Millbury Man Killed In Car Crash
MILLBURY (CBS) -- An 18-year-old from Millbury was killed in a single car crash in his hometown early Saturday morning.
Millbury police Sgt. Donald Desorcy says Eric Marx, who was not the driver, was killed when the car he was in crashed into a utility pole around 1:45 a.m. on Millbury Avenue near Haywood Glen Drive.
Three other people in the car were taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus with non-life threatening injuries.
Desorcy says speed was a factor in the crash. Before the crash a police officer in a cruiser saw the car going the opposite direction at a high rate of speed.
