Young Fan Meets Bruce Springsteen In Boston
BOSTON (CBS) - A rock legend went above and beyond to make a wish come true for a young fan Monday. Bruce Springsteen was in town for a concert at the TD Garden, and made one family's night before the show even started.
Five-year-old Carter Bernhard suffers from Spina Bifida and wanted to meet "The Boss."
So, the Make A Wish Foundation decided to make it happen. Carter traveled to Boston in a limo, had a VIP dinner and then a meet and greet backstage. Bruce also gave Carter an autographed guitar.
The Massachusetts and Rhode Island chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
