Youkilis, Red Sox Battle Past Lee
Kevin Youkilis doubled home the tying run in the bottom of the ninth, then drove in the game winning run in the bottom of the eleventh as the Red Sox beat Texas 3-2 Saturday night at Fenway Park.
The win snapped a two game post-All-Star break losing streak.
John Lackey and Cliff Lee put on a pitchers duel for much of the game. Lackey pitched the first seven innings for Boston, allowing two runs. Lee pitched nine innings for the Rangers, but left with a no-decision after Youkilis tied the game.
Jon Lester (11-3) will start Sunday afternoon's series finale against the Rangers C.J. Wilson (7-5).
