Wynn, Caesar's Unveil More Details Of Casino Plan
EVERETT (CBS/AP) — Las Vegas casino operator Steve Wynn has unveiled an artist's rendering of a $1.2 billion proposed resort casino in Everett.
The rendering shows a high-rise building on the banks of the Mystic River, connected to restaurants and retail stores and water taxi service along a riverwalk.
Wynn is proposing the complex on 37 acres of land at the site of a former chemical plant in Everett.

Wynn dropped an earlier proposal to build a casino in Foxborough after opposition in the town.
The Suffolk Downs race track in East Boston and a Milford group are also competing for the sole eastern Massachusetts resort casino license.
Wednesday's event was scheduled following a teleconference last week in which Everett residents said they were eager to see what the casino would look like.
Boston Mayor Tom Menino would not likely play ball with Wynn though, because he supports the rival Caesar's project at Suffolk Downs.
