WWII Veterans Get VIP Treatment At Gillette Stadium
FOXBORO (CBS) - Some real life Patriots met with the top New England Patriots. Wednesday, six World War II veterans got the VIP treatment at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, including a meeting with Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
The Kraft family, who are longtime supporters of the men and women in uniform, hosted the veterans thanks to the World War II foundation.
The group was created last year to preserve documents and film of veterans so their stories will never be forgotten.
Coach Bill Belichick also spent some time with the men as well.
