Woman Killed In Worcester Stabbing

WORCESTER (CBS/AP) — Worcester police are investigating the fatal early morning stabbing of a 31-year-old city woman.

Security cameras at Kirsch Liquors on Murray Ave. captured the murder.

The video, viewed by WBZ-TV's Bill Shields, shows 31-year-old Cherise Hill approach a group of people around 4:45 a.m. She talks with them for about a minute, then walks away.

Two people chase after her and begin stabbing her. Hill falls and one assailant stands over her, and continues to attack her with the knife.

Hill was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was attacked by more than one person.

There was no word on an arrest.

"I've been here 45 years. Thought I'd seen it all until now," said Bob Kirsch.

A woman nearby heard the murder, saying she heard screams. According to the woman, a man then said in Spanish "this is going to kill you."
