Worcester Police Search For Serial Bank Robber
WORCESTER (CBS) - Worcester police are searching for a man suspected in at least four separate armed bank robberies.
The most recent robbery took place on Thursday afternoon at the Peoples Bank on Gold Star Boulevard.
The robber, described as a white man around 5'9", pulled a handgun during all four robberies.
Each time he has worn a dark hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.
The same suspect is believed to have held up the DCU Federal Credit Union on Gold Star Boulevard back on December 12, the TD Bank on Main Street on December 16, and the Millbury Credit Union on West Boylston Street on December 21.
A photo from one of the robberies shows him wearing a Massachusetts sweatshirt and what appear to be pink mittens.
Worcester Police are looking for help identifying the robber.
