Worcester Mom Diagnosed With Coronavirus Meets Son For First Time
WORCESTER (CBS) – A mother who gave birth to her son nearly a month ago finally had the chance to hold him today for the first time.
Sarah Charma met her son, Alex, in the NICU at UMass Memorial. Alex was born prematurely, and his mom was diagnosed with coronavirus right before she gave birth.
The two finally met on Wednesday. Alex, who is the third child in the family, still has to wait a few weeks before he can meet his other siblings.
