Third Person Faces Charges In Worcester Armory Weapons Theft

WORCESTER (CBS) -- A third person is facing charges in connection to weapons stolen from a Worcester armory.

Tyrone James, of Dorchester, is expected to appear in federal court on Monday. He's accused of trying to broker the sale of stolen weapons.

The 28-year-old will be charged with lying to investigators and having one of the stolen guns in his possession.

His roommate, 26-year-old Ashley Bigsbee, was arrested and charged in the theft last month.

Investigators say former Army reservist James Morales broke into the Lincoln Stoddard Army Reserve Center and stole 16 weapons on the night of Nov. 16.

The FBI has offered a $15,000 reward for the return of the six guns that are still missing.
