Woman Shot And Killed By Police After Chase In Manchester, NH
MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) – A woman was shot to death by police in New Hampshire Monday night after a chase, the Union Leader reports.
Police began following the car in Bow and the chase ended in Manchester at the intersection of Dave Street and Kennard Road about a half-hour later. It is unclear what prompted the police pursuit.
The Union Leader reports the woman was shot by officers as she backed up and tried to ram a cruiser that was blocking her. Video from the scene shows several bullet holes in the driver's side of the woman's windshield. It is unclear how many officers fired their weapons.
The woman's name has not been released.
