Woman Robbed At Gunpoint In Her Driveway
FRANKLIN (CBS) -- Police in Franklin are looking for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint in her driveway on Thursday.
The firearm-carrying man demanded cash from the surprised victim, who was exiting her car. She gave him money from her pocketbook and the man fled down Forest Street on foot, police said.
Nearby schools had to be locked down because of the robbery. A search of the area was unsuccessful.
"We are thankful that no one was hurt in this incident," police said.
The man is described as white, 6 feet tall and in his 20s. He was wearing blue jeans, a light shirt and a dark baseball cap, police said.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 and not approach him.
