Woman Dies After Being Struck By Car In Billerica
BILLERICA (CBS) --- A 79-year-old woman died after being struck by a car Christmas night.
Police say Insook Choi, of Billerica, was hit on Boston Road shortly before 8 p.m.
She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, then Lahey Clinic in Burlington where she later died.
Boston Road was closed for three hours as police investigated.
Police say it appears Insook was crossing Boston Road outside of a crosswalk in a poorly lit area when the crash occurred.
No charges or citations have been filed against the driver.
