Baltimore police arrested Stephanie Walker, 28, of Lawrence, on Saturday afternoon, Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter said in a statement.
Walker was charged with being a fugitive from justice, and she is wanted in Massachusetts for kidnapping and assault and battery charges. She will likely be arraigned in Maryland on Monday.
The other suspect, 28-year-old Adynew Alves of Boston, is still at large. He's wanted for kidnapping, armed assault, assault and battery and kidnapping.
The pair is accused of grabbing a woman at gunpoint in a detached garage at a home in Lawrence on Tuesday, Massachusetts State Police said. The victim was put in the trunk of a car and driven south on Route 24, officials said.
Investigators say she was able to escape from the trunk on Route 24 in Taunton around 7:15 p.m. Drivers helped her and called police.
Walker and Alves reportedly drove off in a blue 1996 Nissan Sentra with Massachusetts license plate number 478-PK4. That car was found abandoned near the Taunton and Freetown border Wednesday morning, authorities said.
