2 Arrested After Fatal Shooting At Jake n Joe's Sports Bar In Woburn
WOBURN (CBS) – Two men were arrested and charged in the shooting death of a man who was killed in the parking lot of a popular Woburn sports bar. Lloyd Borgella, 26, of Roslindale was shot multiple times in the parking lot of Jake n Joe's sports bar on Mishawum Road Saturday around 9 p.m.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said Pauliasky Jean Francois, 34 of Plymouth, and Eric Mills, 29, of Hyde Park, fled the scene and crashed on New Boston Street before running off. Woburn Police arrested them a short time later.
Francois and Mills were charged with murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Both men are expected to be arraigned Monday in Woburn District Court.
Police said there is no danger to the general public.
Ryan said there is "no indication of any connection between any of those parties and Jake n Joe's other than the fact that Mr. Borgella had apparently dined there just prior to the incident in the parking lot and the other individuals were in that parking lot awaiting his coming outside."
It is the first homicide in Woburn in about 10 years.
