With Lockout Over, Bruins Hit Ice At BU
BOSTON (CBS) - The NHL lockout isn't even officially over, but some Boston Bruins were already back on the ice on Monday morning.
A handful of Bruins gathered at BU's Agganis Arena on Monday to get a jump on what will be a shortened 2013 season, just one day after learning the NHL and NHLPA had agreed to a tentative deal to end yet another work stoppage.
Forwards Gregory Campbell, Shawn Thornton, Brad Marchand, Tyler Seguin and Milan Lucic, defensemen Adam McQuaid and Andrew Ference, and netminder Tuukka Rask were all present for Monday's early-morning workout.
