With Bodden Out, Expect Molden To Get A Shot
FOXBORO (CBS) - Never a dull moment down at Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots let go cornerback Leigh Bodden on Friday, proving Bill Belichick will do just about anything when it comes to player personel.
Nothing is a surprise around this team but maybe the timing of this was. The Pats let go Bodden two days before their game against the Steelers. Rookie corner Ras-I Dowling has now missed the last two days of practice (he was absent against on Friday).
Cornerback Antwaun Molden is the likely replacement for Bodden, and says he's used to the business.

Now it's his turn to take advantage of an opportunity.
"Every guy has a responsibility and the next guy is going to have to step up," said Molden.
In six games for New England, Molden has eight tackles this season.

The Patriots now have an open roster spot that needs to be filled. That could go to one of the players coming off of the PUP list.
Expect to see Kevin Faulk, Brandon Deaderick or Ron Brace pressed into duty. I'm thinking that spot may go to Faulk.
