'Wine Store' Is The Top Food & Drink Search In Mass. Before Thanksgiving
BOSTON (CBS) – It looks like there's one thing that's on most everyone's mind in Massachusetts before Thanksgiving – where can we get some wine?
According to Google Trends, "wine store" is the most searched-for food and drink topic in the Bay State on the Wednesday before Turkey Day.
It's also the most popular search in Connecticut and Rhode Island. New Hampshire residents are most interested in "liquor store," while people in Maine are looking for the grocery store.
Wine and liquor stores prove to be the No. 1 query in most states, according to Google. Some of the more unusual top searches include "chocolate store" for Vermonters and "ham shop" in California.

Some other interesting food trends from Google: Roast turkey is the most popular cooking style in Massachusetts and the northeast, while smoke turkey dominates the Midwest.
And when it comes to dessert, Massachusetts and its neighbors prefer an apple pie, while most states west of the Mississippi searches for pumpkin.
