Wilfork: Pats 'Haven't Played Four Good Quarters'
FOXBORO (CBS) - Vince Wilfork was one of the players to draw a big crowd in the Patriots locker room on Thursday.
The defensive tackle said he was happy for making the Pro Bowl, but he more importantly wants to set the tone for this week's game against the Buffalo Bills. The Pats are still looking to improve, and even in Week 17, they have plans in place to do just that.
"We really haven't played four good quarters of football. Hopefully we can do it this week because here on out, I'm pretty sure every team we face is a good team," said Vince. "So we want to be able to do that. So it will be good to start this week with these guys, against a division rival. They have a chance to sweep us, so I'm pretty sure they won't lay down, and I'm pretty sure nothing will have to come easy. So we'll have to work."

With a win, the Patriots can clinch home field throughout the playoffs. But they are aware of what the Bills can bring to the table, seeing how they were the first team to beat the Pats this season back in Week 3.
"We owe them one," said Wilfork. "They beat us earlier this season. Pretty sure they're riding high coming in. They haven't been beating us a lot lately, but I'm pretty sure that feels good lately to come in and sweep us and win two game sand regardless of the records. To be able to come in and sweet a division rival, pretty sweet. So, I'm pretty sure they coming in, thinking they have a real good shot, which they do."
One thing Vince knows the Patriots can't do is get down early, something they've had an issue with the last two weeks.

"We can't do that. Being down two weeks in a row, you can't do that going forward," he said. "I promise you, we will regret it if we go out to a slow start and you're down, 21-17, 14-0, that's tough, that's tough to come back from. But once again, it's shows you this team, it shows you the type of people we have in this locker room. It shows you the confidence we have in one another and the whole coaching staff. We didn't panic, we kept our poise and we pulled it out. We can't keep doing that because eventually it will catch up to us."
