Wild Turkey Flies Through Window Of Bellingham Home
BELLINGHAM (CBS) - Could be Thanksgiving revenge. Could just be bad luck.
Blair Belcher was hanging colored lights in his front yard this week when a flock of turkeys trotted on to his property. He counted 21.
"One of them went across the street, got scared by a dog, lifted off, and I watched him fly into my window. I was like, 'Please, please don't do that!' Slam. Plowed right into the window," says Belcher.
WBZ-TV's Christina Hager reports
The big picture window in his living room is shattered, and held together with duct tape. The bird did not survive the trip. No, Belcher did not cook it. he gave it a proper burial in his back yard.
"I think he was trying to get even. I don't know, so I'm going to eat his cousin tomorrow," says Belcher.
