Where Did The Public Pianos Across Boston Go?
BOSTON (CBS) - To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Celebrity Series placed 75 pianos on the streets of Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville last month.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens played 74 of them in one day back on October 2.
He finally played the 75th on Monday.

The 75th Piano
The beautifully painted piano was inaccessible a month ago because of the government shutdown.
It was locked away inside the Charlestown Navy Yard.
Now that piano is in the Church of the Advent parish house on Beacon Hill at the home of the Rev. Sammy Wood, his wife, and three children.
"We've only had it for about a week, but it's a chance for my daughter to play," Rev. Wood told Carl.
"We use this house a lot for hospitality with people in our parish or people that are travelling and it's a chance for us to have a conversation piece to talk about our city, the art that we create and the artistic life of Boston."
More than half the 75 pianos that were given for the Celebrity Series street pianos program have been adopted by different organizations in the communities (community centers, local businesses) where those pianos were played over the first two weeks in October.
