What About The Weekend?

Cold, raw weather will temporarily be replaced by sunshine tomorrow as onshore winds shift into the NW and draw down much drier air.  This will allow for skies to clear out later tonight and with high pressure nosing in for tomorrow the sun will be out most of the day.  Highs will reach 50 degrees but winds in the morning and midday will make it feel chillier so avoid the shade tomorrow and stay in the sun!

The weekend is still looking a little sketchy...my confidence in the overall outcome isn't exactly sky high at this point.  A storm system ejecting out of the Great Lakes will slide south of New England on Saturday morning.  Southern New England will be on the northern edge of the moisture allowing for the threat of showers especially south of the Pike.  There is also a chance for some wet snowflakes to mix in because of the timing of this moisture falling in the early morning hours.  At this time I don't see this being a big deal and there is a chance this thing misses us all together.  We should dry out and see partial clearing in the afternoon as the storm pulls away.

A second storm system will approach from the west on Sunday.  This means the day will start bright and end with clouds and the threat of showers.  In the end, I don't see either day as a washout and there is a good chance that most of the weekend ends up dry!
