What a Weekend!

Today was the coldest day we've seen since early April...the high only 45.  Now we are heading into a weekend and we'll go from one extreme to the other in the temperature department.  SW winds will transport in warmth and highs will climb into the 50s on Saturday and even  warmer on Sunday with intervals of clouds...60s!  A coldfront will slip through early Monday morning chilling us down for the Thanksgiving Week...and for the first couple of days quiet weather will prevail but a kink in the jetstream will spawn and area of low pressure to eject out of the south and head toward New England for Wednesday.  Early indications are that we'll see cold rain and maybe some wet snow, especially in elevated areas.  This does not look to be a major problem...no damaging wind or coastal flooding but wet weather will slow you down on the roads for sure, impacting holiday travel here in the Northeast.
