What a Day...

If downed tree limbs, power outages and no heat weren't distracting us, today would have been a top 5 day for the entire Autumn season.  I mean, what a gem...all sun, mild temps and no wind...just stunning.  Overall, there are very few changes to the extended forecast.  We are still looking at a lengthy storm-free stretch rounds of warm air.  Tomorrow will be one of those rounds...a SW breeze will transport in air mild enough to make 60 attainable.  This first round of warmth will be short however, as a dry coldfront will pass thru very early Friday morning delivering more unseasonable cold for Friday and Saturday where highs will mostly be in the upper 40s to around 50.  As we slide back to Standard time (don't forget we get an extra hour of sleep...BUT...sunset is around 4:30PM that evening!) temps will actually be on the rise and this time we are looking at a significant warm up and an extended one too.  Highs Monday through Wednesday will at least be in the mid 60s and quite possibly 70...wouldn't that be nice!
