Wet Easter Weekend...
We shot a gardening segment up in Westford today covering the topic of mulching, which will likely air in a couple of weeks, but more importantly we stopped at Kimball Farm Ice Cream...what a treat...a little chilly out but sooooo good!
A slow moving storm system will traverse New England over the weekend...with a warmfront producing steady rain tomorrow from 6AM to 3PM...we are looking at about .5"...so a healthy rainfall. The system's associated coldfront will pass through Saturday night but it will get hung up in our coastal waters keeping a lot of clouds around on Easter Sunday and the threat of showers especially in the afternoon and especially south of the Mass Pike. This same front will be hanging around on Monday too so similar conditions are expected. Finally by Tuesday, the front will be or will have lifted through so warmer air will be able to flood in on strong southerly winds. This isn't exactly a warm favorable direction for SE and some of Eastern Mass but most will experience 70+ temps for the middle of next week.
