Welcome to December...

It's official, November is in the books and it was the second warmest ever behind 1975.  But an even more impressive record has fallen, the Autumn of 2011 was the warmest ever...that's right, the last three months collectively made the warmest Fall in history...incredible.  It is now a new month and a new season but little else has changed, it was another gorgeous day and highs were once again above normal.  Judging by the long range outlook for the first couple weeks of December it looks like we'll be seeing a lot more warmth!  Here's what the Climate Prediction Center thinks.

Breaking down the day to day, a coldfront will march through tomorrow evening with some puffy and maybe threatening looking clouds but very little moisture will result in a mainly dry frontal passage.  Up north there will be snow showers and a few squalls for the ski resorts.  Our weekend looks beautiful with nearly 100% sunshine and while temps on Saturday will be on the cold side in the 40s, Sunday warms into the 50s again!

That warmth sticks around through the middle of the week when  another  moisture loaded storm system will sweep through the East with lots of rain for us once again.
