WBZ Team Finishes The 115th Boston Marathon
BOSTON (CBS) - WBZ-TV reporters Peg Rusconi and Paul Burton, along with CBSBoston.com Web Producer Mike Toole, each finished the Boston Marathon on Monday.
Peg led the pack, breaking the four-hour mark with a final time of 3:57:47. It was her seventh Boston Marathon.
Mike finished with a time of 4:13:49. Mike ran on behalf of Children's Hospital, who completed a heart transplant on his daughter Avery in 2009. As seen earlier on WBZ-TV, Avery is doing great.
Paul, meanwhile, who was running in his seventh Boston Marathon, finished at 4:23:08. He runs along with campers from the Ron Burton Training Village in honor of his father and to help raise scholarships for campers to attend the summer session program.
