WBZ NewsWatch With Joe Mathieu: Roger Berkowitz And John Fish
BOSTON (CBS) – WBZ NewsWatch with Joe Mathieu returned Tuesday on WBZ NewsRadio 1030 with two of the biggest names in local business, Roger Berkowitz of Legal Seafoods and John Fish of Suffolk Construction, as Joe's guests.
Both are members of the Federal Reserve Board in Boston and they talked about the state of the economy with Joe.
Fish said the problem isn't jobs, but a "skills gap."
Berkowitz told Mathieu he's been having trouble finding qualified workers.
In fact, after the Congressional sequester cuts kicked in and government workers were taking unpaid furloughs, his Washington, DC area restaurants saw a big drop in business.
The one-hour special news interview program airs once a month on WBZ.
