WBZ NewsRadio Helps Plum Island Woman Find Family Heirloom

BOSTON (CBS) -- Nancy O'Hara had just returned from Florida, tending to the affairs of her 97-year-old sister who'd recently passed away.

She had planned to skip her neighbors' annual yard sale, but at the last minute, she put some things on the table.

Among them - a stoneware crock that belonged to her niece, a special gift from mother to daughter.

Nancy told WBZ's Karen Twomey she was devastated.

Thursday afternoon, Jacqueline Collussi called the WBZ newsroom, saying she heard our report and thought she may have the crock in question.

WBZ's Diane Stern got them on a conference call, where it was confirmed.
