Water Main Break On Newbury Street
BOSTON (CBS) - A water main break is causing traffic problems in the Back Bay.
A 12-inch pipe burst at the intersection of Newbury and Clarendon Streets around 2 a.m. Thursday.
WBZ-TV's Sera Congi reports
Police closed Clarendon between Commonwealth Avenue and Boylston Street and Newbury from Berkeley to Dartmouth Streets.
Newbury Street re-opened around 9 a.m.

A Boston Water and Sewer spokesperson told WBZ-TV they hope to have the intersection repaired by this afternoon.
There was no damage to nearby businesses, however some had no water until about 9:30 a.m.
It's not clear yet why the water main broke.
