Water Main Break Causes Flooding In East Boston
EAST BOSTON (CBS) – A water main break is causing big problems in East Boston.
The ten-inch pipe broke on Cottage Street at about 7:30 p.m. Monday night.
No evacuations were made, but Boston Fire says water and power are shut off to several buildings in the area.
The cause of the break will be investigated by engineers from the Boston Water and Sewer Commission.
Crews will be working through the night to make repairs.
