Wilfork: Good Practice Equals Turnovers
The Patriots lead the league in the giveaway/takeaway category and in the last four games they have had 12 turnovers. The big plays are happening on defense and the players think it's because of their practice habits.
"We preach it every day in practice," Vince Wilfork said. "Can't get enough of practice. The more you do it in practice, the more plays you make in practice, the more consistent you are in practice, you have a good chance of executing on game days."
Wilfork says the defense has been rewarded when they get a turnover. Tom Brady and the offense have taken the ball and put points on the board.
"I love giving Tom Brady a short field," Wilfork continued. "[He's the] best quarterback in the game. Our job is to keep him in those situations."
