Victim Dies One Month After NH Gas Tank Blast; No Cause Yet
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Fire officials say one man has died a month after he was injured when a diesel tank exploded at a Mobil Station in Manchester.
Rick Clement of the Manchester Fire Department says Donald Scott died at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he had been treated for severe burns since the Sept. 9 blast.
Clement says Scott and another man were refurbishing the tank when a work light fell into the tank and shattered, igniting resin and fiberglass.
The two men were workers for Tank Tech Inc. of Missouri.
The other man is expected to make a full recovery.
