Verizon Recalls 2.5 Million Mobile Hotspots Due To Fire, Burn Hazards
BOSTON (CBS) – Verizon is recalling 2.5 million mobile hotspots due to fire and burn hazards.
The Ellipsis Jetpack mobile 4G hotspots were used in schools and sold in stores between April 2017 and March 2021.
Verizon has received 15 reports of the lithium ion batteries overheating. Two people reported minor burns.
