US Sen. Hopeful Warren Releases List Of Legal Work
BOSTON (AP) — Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren has released more information on legal work she performed during her career as a law professor.
Her campaign sent out the detailed list just moments before Monday's second televised debate between Warren and Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown.
The campaign listed six cases Warren worked on that went before the United States Supreme Court, four that went before the United States Court of Appeals and three that went before the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Brown has criticized Warren's work on behalf of LTV Steel and Travelers Insurance, which he said runs counter to her image as a fighter for the middle class.
Warren's campaign manager says the record shows Warren worked to uphold principles of bankruptcy law that protect workers, retirees, victims, and consumers.
