US Airways Flight Lands In Boston After Crew Members Get Sick
BOSTON (CBS) – A US Airways flight from Philadelphia to Zurich landed at Logan Airport Thursday night after crew members felt ill.
They reported smelling an electrical smell in the rear galley. The plane landed at Logan at 7:44pm and was taken to Terminal B21.
Massport and Boston fire crews examined the plane and the four crew members who fell ill were taken to Mass General Hospital as a precaution.
WBZ-TV's Jonathan Elias reports
No one else on board reported feeling ill.
The US Airways Flight 710 is a Boeing 767 with 187 passengers and 9 crew members on board.
The airline says they are bringing in another plane and crew and expect to depart around 12:30 a.m.
