Update...
Hey all...you know by now NAM has come in with much less QPF. This will likely lead to less snow so I've brought the low end down to 4" and kept the 8" up for now (would like to see the GFS before bringing the high end down). The NAM shows maturation taking place too far into the Gulf of Maine...850mb low doesn't cut-off until near the Maine Mid-Coast and Downeast areas...they get it bad...but with this tardiness we won't see the maximum overrunning. This is of course just one model and one run but at this stage can't ignore completely. Will further refine based on the GFS 00Z run...we wait...
Joe must be freaking out after seeing the robust NAM cut amounts...looks like my bet will be safe! (read previous blog for details)
