Two Pit Bulls Found Dead In Possible Case Of Dog Fighting
BRIDGEWATER (CBS) -- Police are looking into a possible case of dog fighting after two pit bulls were found dead in a wooded area near Pine Street.
A dog walker discovered the dead dogs shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday.
According to Bridgewater Police, the two dogs had wounds around their neck and mouth and on their torso and legs, consistent with dog fighting. The dogs also suffered apparent gunshot wounds to the head.
The Animal Rescue League has taken the dogs. Their cause of death is under investigation.
