Police Investigate Double Murder At Falmouth Home
FALMOUTH (CBS) — Falmouth police are investigating an apparent double homicide in town.
Crystal Perry, 44 and 24-year-old Kris Williams were found dead in a Central Avenue home around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday after someone called police.
Preliminary investigation suggests that each had sustained "severe blunt and sharp force trauma," Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe said.
WBZ-TV's Bill Shields has been told the deaths are likely drug-related.
Police have been to the home before on drug busts and both Williams and Perry were known to police.
Perry was a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
"We pray for safety, for the swift apprehension of whomever committed this shocking, inhumane act, and for the culprit to be brought to justice," the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe said in a statement.
Williams was the son of a retired Falmouth Police officer who recently died.
There have been no arrests.
The home where they were found and the house next door have been closed off with police tape.
Friends and relatives who left the scene had nothing but good things to say about the couple. One neighbor said the home had people coming and going at all hours and break-ins in the neighborhood had increased in the past couple of years.
