Two Men Injured Following Armed Home Invasion & Shootout With Lynn Police
LYNN, Mass. (AP) -- Two men have been shot by Lynn police after they allegedly fired at officers responding to a report of an armed home invasion.
In a press release, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett said Randell McClain was shot in the arm Thursday after he allegedly fired on police from a second-floor window shortly after the alleged home invasion. McClain surrendered and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Blodgett said Sokhannara Chea pointed a gun at police officers and allegedly fired at them. Police returned fire and struck him.

He was taken to Salem Hospital, where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical but stable condition.
A third suspect, Buthchhay Chourb, was arraigned Friday in Lynn District Court and ordered held on $100,000 bail.
